Pseudopanax lessonii ‘Dark Star’

Pseudopanax lessonii ‘Dark Star’ is a handsome and narrow grower with erect stems that produce new growth in a deep shade of purple, gradually fading to a dark-green color with purple margins. It is an ideal choice for small spaces and can serve as an excellent, hardy filler in a variety of environments, including coastal areas. Pseudopanax lessonii is evergreen and native to New Zealand.

Apparently hardy to -5 but winter protection may be needed depending on your location.
