Pseudopanax laetus

I love this shrub, we have a large example growing in our garden at home, it is wonderfully exotic looking, rounded large shrub with fabulous glossy, large oval leaves.  The leaves are held upon reddish-purple stems. 
Although not exceptionally hardy, Pseudopanax laetus will thrive in milder gardens and coastal areas. In colder areas of the uk protection may be given or grow in a container where it can be moved into a cool greenhouse or conservatory.
