The Musa chiliocarpa is a banana plant that can grow up to 3 meters high in the wild. The leaves are similar to those of a Musa Dajiao. The flowering is what this species is all about. After 4 to 5 years there is a chance of flowering and when that happens, this banana does so abundantly. When the flowers are fertilized, a large row of small bananas will appear.
