Musa Sikkimensis ‘Ever Red’

Finalist in the 2024 Chelsea Plant of the Year competition

Musa ‘Ever Red’ sports huge, ribbed, paddle-shaped leaves, the dark green foliage streaked with maroon-red stripes.

Musa Sikkimensis has similar hardiness as Musa Basjoo so makes a great plant for the uk climate. 

They are more wind resistant than the Basjoo, but always try and plant in a sunny and sheltered spot.
