Hedychium thyrsiforme, otherwise known as the ‘Pin cushion Ginger’ is a wonderfully exotic looking variety, the common name owing to the extraordinary spherical flowers which have a wonderful arrangement of white-green delicate petals and exceptionally long stamens.  

Best planted in full sun or light shade in moist
