I adore this tree fern and especially love the contrast of the dark fibrous black trunks against the green fronds. An excellent tree fern for any garden and keen tree fern collector. Should be able to stand temperatures as low as minus 5 when mature for short periods. I always advise to wrap crowns if any frosts are expected or move pot inside during winter.
These can also be kept in large pots, somewhere shady, sheltered and kept damp.
These are in a 15 litre pot with a decent size trunk already
