Native to the Juan Fernandez Islands, Dendroseris littoralis is an endangered, fast-growing curiosity that forms a bizarre, palm-like trunk topped with massive, rubbery, paddle-shaped leaves. It eventually produces large, vivid orange, daisy-like flowers. It thrives in cool, coastal climates but must be kept frost-free. An incredible conversation piece for a cool conservatory or sheltered summer patio.
